History

In 2017, the dream to build a health center in Tomas Borge, Nicaragua was first born. Since 2019, that dream has become a reality.  Tomas Borge was once one of the largest dump sites in Nicaragua. The government turned the area over to the squatters that now call the area home. They have limited access to running water, electricity, and especially quality affordable healthcare.  Lack of money and transportation cause many families to do without even the most basic care.  Seeds of Care was created to bridge the gap for the students, staff, and community of Tomas Borge.  Our clinic is open 5 days a week and staffed by trained Nicaraguan medical personnel.  Since opening we have been fortunate to provide over 10,000 patient consults.  We offer chronic care, acute care, and prescription medication as needed.
